Plate Defender Refund & Return Policy

At Plate Defender, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our products. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase or encounter any issues, please review our updated refund and return policy below.

Our Refund Commitment

We value our customers and will do everything possible to provide the best service. Plate Defender is dedicated to working with our customers to reach the most amicable and positive resolution. We always strive to ensure both our customers and Plate Defender are satisfied with the outcome.

Eligibility for Returns

  • Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for items you are unsatisfied with.
  • Products must be returned in unused condition, with no wires unraveled or clear signs of use.
  • Items that show signs of use or damage will incur a restocking fee ranging from 0-50%, depending on the condition of the return.

Damaged or Defective Items

  • Damaged items must be reported within 3 days of delivery to be eligible for return.
  • To report a damaged item, email a photo of the damage along with a description of how the damage occurred to info@platedefender.com.
  • If the report is made after the 3-day window or if the damage is determined to be caused by user installation error, it is at Plate Defender’s sole discretion to approve a replacement.
  • Return Labels: In certain situations, Plate Defender will provide a return label to the customer. If the item is not returned after receiving the return label, the customer will be re-billed for the secondary product.
  • If a chargeback is filed, Plate Defender will provide all relevant information to the credit card company for the chargeback request and will initiate a collections process for the buyer if necessary.
  • Plate Defender reserves the right to perform a LexisNexis search to obtain the customer’s true information for proper arbitration, even if the customer does not use their full name.

Return Shipping Costs

  • For returns due to customer dissatisfaction (where the product is not defective), the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.

RMA Policy for Customer Unsatisfaction Returns

  • For all customer dissatisfaction returns, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number must be issued by Plate Defender before the item is sent back.
  • If a customer sends a return without an RMA number, the return will be treated as a recycle request, and the unit will be discarded. These units will not be resold.

Refund Processing

  • If a return is approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
  • Please allow 5-7 business days after processing for the refund to reflect in your account.
